We are very pleased to announce that we have completed Cruden Bay, our nature center in Neverworld.
Cruden Bay, a place name in Scotland, was picked as a name because a it evoked nature at its best -- remote, kind of raw and teaming with life if you stop to listen and look.
It was conceived several years ago when I first started working on Lost Paradise grid. Since then #D mesh has really expanded its use in virtual and it was put to good use here. In addition, the use of windlights in the region evokes a very dreamlike and sparkling quality to the surrounding water and skylines.
A small nature center has some of the wildlife that may be found in touch tanks and such including crabs, turtles and fish. You can use the spotting scopes to view other wildlife and birds outside of the center.
But the real joy is strolling the pathways of this small island. You will find nesting water birds and flying gulls. Nestled among the greenery are the most charming campsites. Have a seat and relax warm your hands.. touch the logs to start a roaring fire. And don't miss our big council fire pit with logs for seating.
Am considering making a scuba diving area with shipwrecks, undersea plants and fish... Also in the works is a backpack you can don on when arriving, so you get in the hiking spirit.
We had great fun designing this standard region... I feel it exceed our goals. What say you?
